Limbaugh runs over Gore

Rush Limbaugh appeared on the new Jay Leno show last week and did something hilarious!!   He participated in the Green Car Challenge and ran into Al Gore repeatedly.  It seemed Rush didn’t mind that it added hurt his score.  To me, hitting Al Gore with an electric Ford Focus would be an honor.   I would also boast, “It was worth it! It was worth it!”

Rush also had some great things to say earlier in the show:

Tell Obama, “no, we do not want you owning car companies; no, we do not want you running banks; no we don’t want you taking over student loans and no we do not want nationalized health care!”

Bozeman-Independence Day Tea Party

On July 4th, over two thousand patriots gathered to celebrate our freedoms and protest big government.   We made our message clear…we’ve had enough!!  Now, the politicians need to listen.  The Silent Majority has awakened and it’s our time.  We are sick and tired of excessive spending, bailouts, and unnecessary government involvement.  Please watch the slideshow from the Bozeman Independence Day Tea Party here and visit www.bozemanteaparty.com.

California’s Budget Mess

CA Budget Pic

Years ago, I had the (dis)pleasure of working in California on a few political fights.  California is a beautiful state, but the liberal spend and spend more politicians were driving the car off the cliff.

Anyone with half a brain could see what was going on, but the politicians did NOTHING about it.  They just continued to spend and grow government.  The politicians did find time to blame their problems on other things, like the two-thirds vote needed to pass tax increases and term limits.

Obama to the Rescue…yeah right

Vodpod videos no longer available.

As I’m sure most of you have heard a few weeks ago President Obama announced his team was going to take 90 days to cut $100 million out of the budget.  So, like many others it got me thinking about just how much money that is.

I’ve seen a few different visualizations of the cut and two of them I found particularly good.  The first is a picture that was posted on the Just Citizens blog called A few trillion here or there.  It’s a nice way to see how much of the budget is ACTUALLY BEING CUT

The best one I’ve seen is the above Youtube video which can be found here, it is only a minute and a half and well worth the time.

Socialism spreading in Montana

freedom

More than 100 activists in Missoula, MT protested against capitalism last Friday. These organizers met at the Wells Fargo’s branch near downtown and demanded a bailout of their own.  Due to the national branch accepting a $25 billion bailout it received last October by the Bush Administration.

An article in the Billings Gazette illustrated that the protesters’ intent to solve the problem was socialism.  Their thoughts are well known with the teachings of Karl Marx.  The protesters called for the death of capitalism and the rise of “solidarity, socialism, communalism and activism.”  This crowd was organized by the Two Rivers branch of the Industrial Workers of the World.
